BEESWAX WRAPS

Caring for your Wraps!

Taking care of your beeswax wraps is easy! Just wipe clean with a cool, wet cloth. Or, you can rinse your wrap under cool to lukewarm running water. If you have trouble removing sticky substances, such as peanut butter, you can use a little mild natural dish soap. However, frequent use of soap will degrade the wax mixture, shortening the life of the wrap. Remember, heat is your enemy with wraps, so only cover food after it has cooled to room temperature. You can store wraps anywhere convenient. I like to roll mine up in a piece of parchment paper and keep them in a drawer with the aluminum foil and reusable bags.

How long do wraps last?

Longevity largely depends upon the intensity of use. Wraps that get light to moderate use (keeping vegetables in the fridge, covering dishes, etc) can last up to a couple of years. The lunchbox sets that my kids use 5 times a week and get daily washing, more frequently with soap, tend to last about a school year (9 months) before I have to start securing them with a rubber band to keep them together.

Can I use them in the freezer?

Yes, BUT for a small amount of time. I would recommend only freezing items with a wrap for 1-2 weeks (1 preferrably). The wraps do not do well with any kind of extreme heat or cold.

REUSABLE WATER BALLOONS

The reusable water balloons can be hand washed and air-dryed. You can also put them on the delicate cycle of your washer, air dry or use the delicate cycle of your dryer.

SWIFFER PADS

Swiffer pads are made from 100% cotton fabric and can be thrown in the washer and dryer to clean.

SCRUBBIES

Scrubbies need to be washed in the washer and dryer. DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DISHWASHER.
